Moderation Cluster meeting at Papanui High School
Below are the details for the first moderation cluster meeting for 2015. This is a chance to bring along your students’ work and talk about the standards that your students are currently doing. Remember to bring along student work that is borderline, e.g. Not Achieved /Achieved, Achieved/Merit, Merit/Excellence. This will be a great chance to touch base with other music teachers and to brush up on the standards. Don’t be afraid to bring your worst students’ work!! These students can sometimes be the ones we learn the most from. You can also gain some great feedback from other teachers on how best to give advice to your students.

WHAT – Level 1 Composition and Solo Performance
Level 2 Instrumentation and Group
Level 3 Arranging and Composition
(feel free to bring anything else that you feel you would like some feedback on)
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED – Sibelius 6 (Please make sure you save your students work as a Sibelius 6 file if needed)

LUNCH – Northlands mall is just across the road and has a great food court
COST – Free
There will be another Cluster Meeting organised later in the year if you are unable to make this one.
